Passengers to get on public transport through middle and rear doors only as of March 13
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that as of today, March 13, and until further notice, passengers will not get on public transport through front doors and drivers will stop selling tickets.
To reduce COVID-19 spreading risks and protect public transport drivers, “Rīgas satiksme” will limit the driver’s area in public transport and drivers will stop selling tickets. We encourage passengers to buy tickets in advance in more than 400 points of sale. Passengers can get on and off public transport through middle and rear doors only.
Therefore, the project in which passengers on trolleybus routes No. 1 and 13, and bus routes 10, 20, 28, 34, 35, 43, 47, 54 and 60 could get on public transport through front doors only, is suspended until further notice. Passengers on the above routes will also get on and off public transport through middle and rear doors only.
